About us

The association "Les Amis de la Musique Acoustique" (or AMA) is a non-profit association whose objective is to promote and distribute acoustic music on original creations in fields ranging from jazz to classical music, including world music.

Created in October 2018, this association's main activity is phonographic production. It also participates in the production of concerts and music videos. The association exclusively supports musical projects in which the natural acoustic balance of the instruments makes it possible to use few sound systems (or none at all, if the acoustics of the venue allow it).

The association's first project was to produce and support an Italian-French quartet: the Gabriel Bismut & Maurizio Minardi Quartet.

This project gave birth to several tours and, in 2020, to an album, “Le Chat Brel”, distributed by InOuïe (press relations: Veev Com).

It obtained the support of ADAMI, FCM, SCPP, CNM and SPEDIDAM and critical success.

The association also supports other musical projects such as the Gabriel Bismut "Granada" 4tet (jazz), the Tempus Fugit Trio (Gypsy Jazz) or Le Ô Trio (creations based on traditional music).

Its latest album project, “Dream Movie Piano Music”, with Nacer Zerfaoui on piano and Gabriel Bismut on composition, is nearing the end of production.
